We are currently seeking a Systems Engineer to support operations in Moehringen, Germany. This is a full-time OCONUS position requiring an active DoD Secret clearance, eligibility for NATO Indoctrination and TESA accreditation, other requirements.

What You’ll Do
As a Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in Identity & Access Management, that serve U.S. government missions overseas. You will:
Design, implement, and maintain identity and access management (IAM) systems, including authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) protocols
Develop and implement identity management strategies and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices, including those related to secure military environments and cloud computing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy IAM solutions that meet business requirements and security standards, including those related to classified networks and systems
Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and mitigate potential security threats to identity systems
Develop and maintain documentation for IAM systems, including system architecture, configuration, and troubleshooting guides
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the IAM space and make recommendations for future system enhancements and upgrades
Collaborate with security teams to ensure that IAM systems are aligned with organizational security policies and procedures, including those related to secure military environments and cloud computing
What You’ll Bring
Required Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems, including design, implementation, and maintenance
Major technical certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CEH) with 5+ years of related experience, demonstrating progressive responsibility
5+ years of hands-on experience supporting IAM solutions in enterprise or government environments
- 5+ years of related experience showing growth in systems engineering, security engineering, or identity services
Strong experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining IAM solutions in secure environments
Knowledge of IAM and identity federation protocols, including SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect
Experience with IAM platforms such as Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Okta, Ping Identity, or similar technologies
Strong knowledge of authentication, authorization, encryption, and access control principles
Experience with cloud-based IAM solutions, including AWS IAM, Azure Active Directory, or Google Cloud IAM
Experience performing risk assessments, troubleshooting, and remediation of identity-related issues
Proficiency with scripting and automation using PowerShell and/or Python
Certifications:
- CompTIA Security+ or higher (e.g., CISSP, CEH)
Must have a current and active DoD Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
Proficient with modern IT tools and infrastructure technologies
Travel & Passport
Some overnight stays possible.
Must have an active passport to support OCONUS travel and/or living requirements.
Work Environment
Compliance with vaccination and medical requirements for TDY/OCONUS roles as per Vaccine Recommendations by AOR | Health.mil.
Office setting:
Primarily an office-based role in Moehringen, Germany
Standard desk/computer work with flexibility for walking and movement on site
Must be able to work in an office environment, sitting at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday.
Work is physically comfortable; the employee has discretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc.
May be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.
