Cambridge International Systems, Inc. has a full-time Senior Network Administrator opportunity available based in Panama. Qualified candidates for this job must possess a current DoD Top Secret SCI with Poly security clearance. This position is contingent upon contract award with an expected start date of August 25, 2026.
ROLE RESPONSIBILTIES
Our SCITES program supporting US Southern Command has an exciting, challenging opportunity for someone versed in ESS support.
- Provides on-site support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of all Information Technology (IT) systems.
- Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
- Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all the firewalls/client/server/routers/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
- Provides help-desk services for problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
- Provides support for escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
- Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
- Configures and manages Windows, LINUX and UNIX operating systems. Installs/loads operating system software.
- Trouble shoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancement to improve reliability and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process.
- Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems, imaging and backup.
- Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers and escalated tickets.
- Build, configure and manage Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and install/load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity and configure network components, along with implementing operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
- LINUX and UNIX desired.
- Expertise in Active Directory and Domain Administration.
- Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture(s) Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Service-oriented Architecture (SOA), Secure Enterprise/Secure the Network
- Enterprise/Secure the Network (STE/STN), etc.
- Establish, maintain and perform configuration management for ITC classified and unclassified network systems in accordance with DoD [NSA IT regulations.
- Build, configure, understand, implement and Information System Security Plan (ISSP) and secure the enterprise (STE) in accordance with DoD/NSA computer security regulations, to include applying STE attributes, if applicable.
- TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
- Ten (10) years' experience as a Network Administration in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity's required
- Bachelor's degree in technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- In rare occasions, overnight travel may be required.

- Must be able to work in an office environment, sitting at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday.
- Work is physically comfortable; the employee has discretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc.
- May be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.
