Cambridge International Systems, Inc. has a full-time Compliance Analyst/Administrator opportunity available in Arlington, VA.  Reporting to the VP of Corporate Compliance, this position will be vital in the administration of Cambridge corporate ethics and compliance program.  Candidates considered for this position may have video and in-person interviews and an excel and PowerPoint challenge to validate skills.

ROLE RESPONSIBILTIES
  • Arranges, conducts, and monitors compliance testing and controls
  • Supports compliance audits, and investigations
  • Generates analyses and reports containing results of compliance testing and delivers to VP Corporate Compliance and Executive management
  • Informs VP Corporate Compliance of any compliance violations
  • Supports development, maintains, and tracks delivery of compliance training content and programs
  • Processes paperwork for VP Corporate Compliance according to established procedures.
  • Prepares internal employee communications on Compliance and policy such matter.
  • Reviews internal systems, controls, and processes and identifies ways to resolve regulatory gaps and deficiencies.
  • Assists with the implementation of new and updated compliance systems, standards, processes, procedures, and policies.
  • Provides ongoing monitoring of compliance information systems and processes.
  • Ensures compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations as well as company policies, procedures and internal controls.
Specific Tasks
  • Collect Deltek daily floor check reports from system for analysis
  • Create monthly floor check report and deliver to Compliance VP, CAO and CEO per Data Deliverable Annual Calendar and in format approved by CEO/CAO
  • Create quarterly floor check report per Data Deliverable Annual Calendar to VP/CAO/CEO; Create separate deliverables on timekeeping data and send to all supervisors on their respective employees to identify failure rates
  • Write bimonthly newsletter on topics that are pre-approved by CEO; send NLT than 15th of month
  • Facilitate and take Minutes from Quarterly Executive Compliance Steering Committee Meeting
  • Maintain Corporate Inquiries Log: Collect all inquiries received into the company using the Corporate Inquiries Procedure (the Corporate Inquiries Procedures sets forth the process for collecting, assessing, and dispositioning all types and forms of inquiries that are brought to the company).
  • With assistance from the CAO, complete a comprehensive assessment of the Enterprise Risks with the status of “Risk Monitoring”
  • Maintain the Enterprise Risk Assessment Schedule
  • Support Compliance Week activities and/or series of Compliance related actions across the year
  • Manage Syntrio/Lighthouse Third-party company that runs anonymous reporting tool and disposition all incoming reports
  • Work with Communications Department to update the Ethics and Compliance Documents Tracker which is an Index of Cambridge’s Ethics and Compliance Policies and all the associated Procedures; Instructions; Controls; Guidance; and References that support the implementation of them
  • Review all Expense Reports and Business Meals monthly against the control parameters checklist as a control measure for the Company and report anomalies to VP, CEO, CAO, and CFO per the Data Deliverable calendar in a format approved by the CEO/CAO
  • Maintain log of all Ethics and Compliance Training taken by E&C Executive Steering Committee Members
  • Maintain a log of all Company Compliance Outreach Efforts
  • Act as primary DII Company POC (Contact Hannah Pangrazio)
  • Act as primary Syntrio (Previously Known As Lighthouse) Company POC
  • Review annually with HR that all new hire Cambridge employees have written attestation of acceptance of "Cambridge Constitution" - The Cambridge Code of Conduct and document by MFR that such benchmark has been achieved
  • Support CAO in on-going roll out of Records Retention program
  • Participate in Enterprise Risk Management Meetings
  • Support on-going audits as determined by risk needs
  • Work as Emergency Action Plan point of contact and Industrial Security Liaison
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
  • Must have 5-7 years of experience and Bachelors degree in business, psychology, or related field
  • Hybrid position (3 days Arlington office, Tuesday through Thursday)
  • Spanish language fluency preferred but not required
  • Training in Ethics a plus
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.  In some occasions, overnight travel may be required.
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT AND WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Must be able to work in an office environment, sitting at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday.
  • Work is physically comfortable; the employee has discretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc.
  • May be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.
